Daniel's Work
I try never to refuse anything related to fundraising for foundations and things that benefit handicapped children, retired people, combating illness, or anything of a spiritual nature. That's my first priority.

Daniel performs at “A Salute to Red, White & You,” the 15th annual Loma Linda University Foundation event in 2008.   Nearly $800, 000 was raised to benefit the Children’s Hospital.

During Daniel's 2008  Holland tour, the "I Believe" CD produced in the Netherlands was released, with a portion of profits to benefit "Heart for Children."  Daniel has been named as Goodwill Ambassador for his support of this foundation based in Pretoria, South Africa.
"A portion of proceeds go to making a home and family environment for orphans in South Africa. During the concert series we gave CD's to those who signed up to support "Heart for Children" and we were successful. The support we received from patrons at the concerts will make it possible to build 3 houses in South Africa that will house up to 6 orphans and a matron each. The matron will be the care giver and the organization will be a partner in the development and education of the orphans and, with God's help, they will grow to become a new generation of educated leaders in a land that holds many of our world's treasures. Marla, Alexandra and I hope to visit South Africa this coming  year and find new ways to help in these wonderful projects."  Daniel

The early days: singing to make a positive difference
When Daniel was in his mid 20's, he brought together an ensemble of professional singers and musicians, called "Broadway Magic," who performed at retirement communities, churches, and for special events around New York.

Overview of Broadway Magic

Dear friends:

We are a small ensemble of professional musicians who have performed for many churches and organizations throughout the Greater Metropolitan New York area.

Our show is called Broadway Magic and consists of popular selections from Broadway, old and new, as well as operettas, sacred music, and opera.

Our ability to bring Broadway Magic to so many people has been a direct result of the support and interest of local organizations and all our friends. Broadway Magic was my dream to bring music of a lost era to people all over the world.

After the first fund raiser I knew that there would be more to this show than just performing. I felt the overwhelming satisfaction of giving to those in need.

The show does 90% of its performances for fundraising purposes. We have built this show with the help of good friends and wish to keep this show moving upwards for years to come. So I ask you, my friends, to become a part of something special and in doing so, make Broadway Magic a golden star that will shine for all to see. Daniel Rodriguez

Jorge Novoa on Daniel's vision - Broadway Magic

"Broadway Magic" has grown since it's inception by Daniel Rodriguez many years ago. During that time, there have been many people who have participated in the show due to Daniel's giving nature and desire to share.

When Daniel asked me to be his guest in one of his shows, I accepted and was honored that he decided to include me. Yet I had no idea what I was to experience. Not only were the shows amazingly received, but Daniel always made himself available to the patrons in a very caring way.

I was very taken by what I saw and knew that this was something I wanted to be a part of. Since that time, I have joined him in his endeavor to share wonderful music with the public.

We have now combined our efforts as the new "Broadway Magic" becomes a reality. Yet even though I have become his partner, I will never forget that if it wasn't for the vision of Daniel Rodriguez, there would be no "Broadway Magic." I thank him for his generosity and for allowing me to share in this wonderful quest... Together I believe that we can reach the unreachable star. Jorge Novoa
