October 2006
Dear Friends:
I recently had a moment to stop and read many of your messages and guestbook entries and I had to take a few minutes to tell you all how pleased I am to know that I have brought some happiness to so many.
Sometimes trying to live a simple life and focus your sights on the most basic of ideals is difficult, though it seems so simple when you verbalize it. It even gives one a sense of a higher understanding of why we are here and if the rest of the world just felt the same way it would all turn out fine in the end.
I am speaking of the philosophy of Live and let live; Leave this world a little better than you found it; Do good things unto others and good will be done in return; Be a light that others who may be lost can see shining in the darkness and find their way; Believe that God has a purpose for all of us and for some, it is just to be here for one of us.
These are not always easy to follow, but it is the willingness to try, with all our flaws and weaknesses, that bring us ever closer to Him.
I pray that you each find inner peace and that you never miss an opportunity to help one another, for one of the greatest gifts God has given us is each other. All my best always, Dan

November 2005
Dear Friends,
As we approach once again this magical season, a season of giving thanks, a season of family, a season of friends, and most importantly a season of faith, I would like to say to each and every one of you that you have all been a source of comfort and inspiration through your letters, your presence at my concerts, and your belief in what I stand for.
Since beginning this new chapter in my career, I have gone through many emotional roller
coasters in trying to understand what my purpose is. I believe that God has given me a gift and most importantly opportunities to share that gift with others. But God has also given me a family and the obligation to be there for them in their time of need.
As life is filled with decisions sometimes it is difficult to know which decisions are correct -- or are there ever truly "correct" decisions? We search our hearts and ask for guidance then make the best decision we can, and if we start from faith, and truly consult our hearts, then all of the decisions we make will be the right ones.
In this last year I've realized that all the things that are truly important to me, all the things that I attribute to true success, I already have. And you, my friends, are part of that. So, as we gather with friends and family to give thanks and celebrate the season, let us take inventory of what truly encompasses the spirit of the season - and you will find that most of the things are already within your reach.
May God bless and keep you and your loved ones safe this joyous season. Dan

December 2004
Dear group:
First let me begin by reporting that the Yuletide concert series had it's opening night Friday and all went wonderfully well. I was pleased with all our performances and of the very talented co-stars who worked tirelessly to put together a show that we are all very proud of.
I want to send you and your loved ones, wishes for a most joyful Christmas season and the happiest of New Years. Remember that this is a season of loving and sharing. Keep those less fortunate in your hearts and prayers and if the spirit moves you, do something kind for a stranger. It shows that we are all God's children, those we know and love, and those we don't know but must also love. May all your hopes and dreams become realities and may God bless you now and always.
Your friend, Dan

Dear friends:
As the season of giving thanks approaches, I wish to express my gratitude to all my friends in the fan group. I hesitate to say fan group because you are so much more to me. In you I find the encouragement to continue the journey on this road of discovery and sometimes
disappointment. I have tried to remain true to the idea that if you put your heart and soul and sweat into something you truly believe in, then whatever the outcome it will be godsend. When I feel the pressure of the business of making music I am reminded of the friends I have in you all and it is to you that I sing and you that I do my best for. Because when all is said and done it is you who will be listening to what I leave behind. I hope that you all have a wonderful holiday season and from my family to yours. God bless you all. Dan

To all those who have taken time from their busy schedules to take a bit of interest in the goings on of Daniel Rodriguez;
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. It has been a bitter/sweet year filled with wonderful blessings and hard days of reflection. But through it all, your letters and words of encouragement have assured me that God is in the music I sing and in the faces of the people who, however briefly, touch my life. All of you who make up my fan group are very special to me because in some way my music has touched you and made you go the extra step to hear, see and experience more of what God gave me the ability to do so many years past. Thank you for yourloyalty, support and love and thank you for allowing me into your hearts where I hope to stay for many years to come! Dan
